World Book Day

In 2023, we celebrated World Book Day in 4 main ways:

1. We dressed up as our favourite characters.

2. We read with children across different year groups.

3. We bought in books to take part in a “Big Book Swap.”

4. We celebrated those children who had completed their own book shelves and gave out the first every reading raffle prizes.

Here we are reading with different children across the school…

Congratulations to Ivy (year 1), Daria (year 2), Tyson (year 3). Elizabeth (year 4), Shantay (year 5) and Zoe (year 6) who were the first winners of our reading raffle!

Our book swap was a brilliant success…

I swapped a My Little Pony book for the Accidental Father Christmas. It was fun because you got to give a book to someone else but you are getting a new one in return.

World Book Day 2021

This year some of us celebrated in school and some celebrated at home.

Have a look below at some of our fantastic costumes and how the children spent their day. There is also a special message from the teachers…
